Tanisha Lopez, Baker and Chef

 ~I have been in the culinary industry for over a decade and love what I do. Baking was not something that caught my attention in the beginning, but when I became a mother, the patience and concentration of baking seemed much more soothing. I love what I do, and I love making others smile with tasty art.

In 2014, California Native and San Francisco State and Culinary Arts graduate decided to move to Acadiana and focus on custom cakes, catering, non-profit work and being the best mom.

Tanisha, decided to bring her own concept of custom baking and catering to Lafayette. She is a California born gal, but her roots flow through Acadiana as her entire family resides in Abbeville and the surrounding areas. Southern tradition and values are something that has been and continues to flow throughout her work and daily life.

Tanisha's background includes a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management with an emphasis on business and catering as well as a AS in Culinary Arts. Tanisha worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years which influenced her creativity. Tanisha fuels her craft by the influence and opportunities that where presented by amazing chefs and business owners.

Tanisha, as a small business owner, brings to the table her unique but traditional love of food and pastry arts and loves a challenge that comes her way.
